Our mission is to provide Latino entrepreneurs with the necessary resources to promote creation, cultivation and collaboration of small businesses, generating employment and economic growth throughout the Americas.
Latinos in the U.S. are opening businesses at twice the national rate and comprise a group of more than 2.3 million entrepreneurs generating more than $345 billion in sales. Additionally, this group accounts for more than $50 billion in remittances to Latin America each year.

La Idea will unleash this potential by translating the knowledge, expertise, and capital of Latino entrepreneurs into tangible improvements in the countries in which they have business, family and community ties. La Idea connects Latino entrepreneurs to local and regional small business support centers and provides them with resources and connections to help them take their business to the next level.
