USAID’s Office of Microenterprise and Private Enterprise (MPEP) and the IFC’s Women’s Finance Hub, are excited to announce a new seminar series which will explore the range of systemic options that address both the demand and the supply side issues of financing an enterprise. More and more funders, corporations, financing institutions and governments are interested in increasing investment in women-owned and managed small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Currently, structural barriers prevent many women from getting financing for business. Removing those barriers not only helps close the gender gap but also spur economic growth.
