SME lender Grid Finance’s CEO Derek F. Butler, shares how the company is expanding its offering to include a digital pension product targeted at the owners of small businesses. Grid will act as distributor and has engaged Conexim to provide the back office infrastructure on the product.

The company is riding high after receiving a €3m equity investment from Luxembourg-based Reech Corporations Group, which will help prepare for international expansion. The focus is on growing in Ireland for the next 18 months, but the groundwork for moving into foreign markets will begin in that period.

"We're building a small business owner pension product. That's currently in beta, and we expect that to be live in the market next year," Butler tells Independent.IE.
