The Capital Mobilisation Challenge (Challenge) is a competition targeting small to medium size enterprises (SMEs) with a strong sustainable development focus and located in Cambodia, Indonesia, Philippines, Myanmar or Vietnam. The Challenge, which opens in September 2017, is being organised by SME Finance Forum member Unkapt in partnership with Pennam Partners.

The purpose of the Challenge is to address SME financial inclusion in the aforementioned countries and to also improve their investment readiness level. Successful Challenge applicants will have the opportunity to participate in an investment readiness bootcamp, and win up to USD $50,000 worth in awards. The expected end outcome is to enhance the likelihood of the successful applicants to raise capital by mobilising investors and enhancing investment readiness of the applicants.
