AgriFin's vision is to significantly increase access to financial services for farmers and other enterprises in rural areas. AgriFin's objective is to demonstrate to a broad set of stakeholders, particularly commercial banks, that all levels of the agricultural value chain can be financed profitably.
AgriFin's program has two main components: capacity building projects and a knowledge and networks program. Projects financed under the first component support the replication and scaling-up of business models that profitably finance agriculture. The knowledge and networks program catalyzes and facilitates learning about profitable agriculture finance business models within a wide network of practitioners
