SME Finance Virtual Marketplace - Focus on Non-Financial Services Platforms

The latest IBM Institute for Business Value’s report, “Banking on SMEs” shows that SMEs want a seamless experience on integrated ecosystem platforms offering banking and non-banking services.

The 1000 SME owners surveyed seek banks with expertise to address business growth, beyond financing needs.

Our latest NFS innovation hub survey shows that 83% of respondents prioritize non-financial services as an organizational strategy.

When asked about what they see as the most helpful NFS for their organizations, our members and partners mentioned as a priority the need for NFS platforms that design innovative NFS solutions tailored to specific SME ecosystems. Those NFS solutions include:

  • Access to training resources: financial management and business management tools, digital transformation and regulatory compliance

  • Connect with mentors and networking

With this in mind, we are inviting NFS fintechs and other platforms who have successfully collaborated with banks and other business support organizations (incubator, chamber of commerce, economic development agency) to join our next virtual marketplace on January 22, 2025.

The session will explore some of the integrated services offered by those NFS platforms such as financial and business management tools as well as networking.
