Now in its third year AFSIC is developing into Africa’s leading financial services investment event. Banks, insurance companies, microfinance, leasing and other regulated financial services companies from across Africa as well as many of Africa’s most significant investors attend AFSIC. A list of selected Companies confirmed and Speakers is available on this site.

Companies from Algeria, Angola, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Cote D’Ivoire, DRC, Egypt, Gabon, Ghana, Kenya, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Sao Tome, Senegal, South Africa, South Sudan, Sudan, South Africa, Togo, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe are already confirmed for AFSIC 2015. Investors attending include representatives of most of Africa’s leading Private Equity funds, major Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), supranational investors, and listed equity funds.

The event comprises of several events happening over the course of 2 days:

  • Speakers: Parallel streams of speakers. The streams will also include Panel Discussions on relevant topics. A provisional agenda is available for download.
  • One on One Meetings: A One on One meeting system goes live one month before AFSIC 2015. This allows all registered delegates to arrange and prepare for meetings well in advance of the event. A limited number of meeting spaces can also be booked online by attendees. These facilitate the organisation of meetings, allowing attendees to undertake a significant amount of meetings within a short period of time in the same location.
  • Meet African Dealmakers Dinner: This event, taking place the night before AFSIC, is specifically designed for African corporate finance advisors/stockbrokers/M&A teams etc to network amongst themselves.
