Matthew Gamser is CEO of the SME Finance Forum. He has over 35 years of experience in private enterprise and financial sector development, with an emphasis on emerging markets. He has spent the past 10 years with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), and the previous 25 years in the private sector working as a management consultant and policy advisor.

He has worked with commercial banks and non-bank financial institutions in broadening and deepening financial services, as well as with governments and private businesses around the world to create an improved policy and regulatory environment for private-sector growth and poverty reduction.

Prior to joining the SME Finance Forum, he led IFC's advisory work in increasing access to financial services in the East Asia and Pacific region. He helped to develop a benchmarking system for SME banking services, and other tools and techniques for building capacity in financial institutions and financial sector regulators. He also helped introduce mobile banking/electronic payments systems as a new business area. From 1998-2004, he served as an international advisor to the SIDBI Microfinance program in India, helping grow a small pilot effort into a major part of SIDBI's portfolio (and one of the world's largest microfinance sectors).

Jin-Yong Cai is Executive Vice President and CEO of IFC, a member of the World Bank Group and the largest global development institution focused on private sector development. He has extensive experience in private sector development in emerging markets across the globe. He also has deep expertise in a variety of financial products and industries, including a record of success managing highly complex business transactions with clients in developed and developing markets alike. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his role in major transactions in financing, restructuring, and mergers and acquisitions.

Before joining IFC, he worked in the financial services industry for 20 years. He spent 12 years with the Goldman Sachs Group, where he was part of Goldman Sachs' global leadership team and its top executive in China. Prior to that, he held senior positions in Morgan Stanley's investment banking division. During his time at Morgan Stanley, he was seconded to the China International Capital Corporation at the inception of what has since become one of the country's largest investment banks.

He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Boston University, and a Bachelor of Science Degree from Peking University.

Isaac Awuondo is Group Managing Director of Commercial Bank of Africa (CBA) and focuses on positioning the CBA Group as the bank of choice for corporate, institutional and high net worth personal customers in Kenya and the Eastern Africa region. He also serves on the Boards of several public and private organizations, including Bata Shoe Company, Kenya Limited, and Nairobi Java House (Mauritius) Ltd. He is Chairman of the Nairobi Hospital and the Council of Riara University in Kenya.

For the past 18 years, he has built considerable experience in the Kenyan and regional banking industry as part of the senior management team of CBA, the largest locally owned commercial bank in the region, as well as over 8 years at Standard Chartered Bank Kenya Ltd (SCBK), one of the leading international banks operating in the region. He was General Manager and Executive Director of CBA prior to being appointed Managing Director in December 1998 and Group Managing Director in September 2012. He was the Chief Financial Officer and director of the SCBK's operations in Kenya and East Africa until September 1995.

He graduated from Nairobi University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Accounting and Finance.

A former senior bank executive, J.P. Nicols is the President and COO of Innosect, a Silicon Valley based global innovation enablement and analytics company that has experience helping over 200,000 people contribute to projects and campaigns that have generated over $400 million in value. He is also the co-founder of the Bank Innovators Council, an independent global membership organization with members in 65 countries that promotes and supports innovation in banking.

His work has been featured in some of the industry's top publications, including American Banker, The Financial Brand, BAI Banking Strategies, Investment News, Bank Innovation and many others.

Before his work in bank innovation consulting, he served in various leadership and innovation roles at top financial institutions, including as the first Chief Private Banking Officer for a top five U.S. bank. He serves on the Advisory Boards of NextBank USA and Advizr, and previously served on the Advisory Board of Balance Financial, and as Vice Chair of the Board of Forest Ridge School of the Sacred Heart.

Mark Pesce is an inventor, writer, entrepreneur, educator and broadcaster. In 1994, he co-invented VRML, a 3D interface to the World Wide Web. He has written six books, including VRML: Browsing and Building Cyberspace and The Playful World: How Technology is Transforming Our Imagination, which used toys such as Furby and Sony's PlayStation to explore our interactive future.

As an educator, he founded graduate programs in interactive media at both the University of Southern California's world-famous Cinema School and the Australian Film, Radio and Television School. He currently holds an appointment as Honorary Associate at the University of Sydney's Digital Cultures Program.

For seven years, he was a panelist and judge on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's hit series "The New Inventors," celebrating Australia's newest inventions and inventors. A highly-regarded speaker, he entertains and informs audiences on the future of technology, media, government, health care, and education, and is a regular guest on James Valentine's ABC 702 radio program. His articles about technology and culture are regularly published in WIRED, Sydney Morning Herald, The Age, and ABC's The Drum.

In 2006, he opened the doors of FutureSt, a Sydney consultancy dedicated to helping clients identify and benefit from the opportunities of connected business. Clients have included Lonely Planet, Amnesty International, and Pearson Publishing.

In 2012, he co-founded MooresCloud, an Internet-of-Things startup dedicated to providing beautiful, intelligent and connected lighting for the home. Holiday, the company's first product, shipped to customers at the end of 2013.

Thomas J. DeLuca is CEO of AMP Credit Technologies, a Hong Kong-based financial technology company which provides an outsourced processing platform for banks and other institutional lenders to lend to small businesses based upon their cash flow, on a profitable and scalable basis. AMP's proven proprietary loan management system leverages concepts and principles from microfinance, payment processing, social media, and 'big data'-together with more traditional loan underwriting principles-to help banks lend to their small business customers on a profitable and efficient basis.

Prior to founding Advanced Merchant Payments, he was a co-founder of Planet Payment, Inc., a multi-currency payment processor publicly-traded on the NASDAQ Stock Market, and dedicated to enabling internationally-focused processors, acquiring banks, and merchants to accept, process and reconcile credit card transactions in multiple currencies. He started his payment career in the legal department of American Express, where he provided legal and strategic advice to the merchant services division regarding electronic commerce matters, consumer privacy, marketing, and general commercial issues pertaining to credit card transactions.

He received his B.A. Degree, M.B.A., and Juris Doctor (J.D.) from St. Johns University and his Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Trade and Business Transactions from Fordham University in New York.

Dario Lombardi is the General Manager at Strands leading the Finance Business Unit globally. He joined Strands in 2011 as Business Development Director and has been responsible for managing sales in EMEA.

He has been working in the FinTech industry since 1999. Prior to joining Strands, he worked for Bloomberg LP in London. He started as Key Account Manager in Italy and grew to taking the role of Head of Sales for the Emerging Markets, where he managed the sales teams responsible for Eastern Europe, Africa, Russia/CIS, Turkey, Greece, Israel among other countries.

John Davis is Managing Director of BCSG. He joined BCSG from Barclays Bank in 2011. He held various commercial roles before rising to the position of Marketing and Product Director for Barclays Business, a ?1bn revenue / 1m customer division, as well as being the MD and company director of Clearlybusiness Ltd, a Barclays innovation subsidiary.

In his time running and overseeing SaaS businesses over 500k SMBs have subscribed to their catalogue of services.

Responsible for the day-to-day management of the company, John has overseen a period of substantial growth for BCSG, both in financial and reputational terms, and is now spearheading an ambitious global growth plan.

He has unrivalled experience and understanding of what SMEs need and how to deliver it to them.

Marc Bernstein is the executive vice president and Head of Wells Fargo Business Direct and Small Business Segment. Business Direct is far and away the nation's largest lender of loans of up to $100,000 to small businesses. He joined Wells Fargo in 1985 as an analyst in the Management Sciences Department.

In 1992, he established the Customer Information and Risk Management (CIRM) Division in the Business Banking Group. As the manager of CIRM, he led his team in developing new scoring technologies and risk management techniques, and created the group's database marketing initiatives. In December 1996, he was appointed head of the newly created lending unit, Business Direct and, 18 months later, was promoted to executive vice president. From 2001 to 2004, he served as the founding president of the banking industry association, the Small Business Financial Exchange.

Gianluca Riccio is Head of Strategy & Framework in Commercial Bank Risk (CBR) of Lloyds Banking Group. His mandate spans support to the Commercial Bank Risk Director in planning and delivering the risk landscape, and maintaining the strategic connection with both the Front Office and the Group. He has led a broad range of initiatives including modelling, pricing, capital/regulatory requirements, and business restructures.

He is also Vice-Chair of the Business and Industry Advisory Committee (BIAC) Finance Task Force of the OECD; a Member of the B20 Coalition Task Force on Economic Growth; and has been actively representing BIAC in the OECD Working Party on SMEs and Entrepreneurs on matters pertaining to SME financing.

Before Lloyds, he worked with UBS for 13 years within the Investment Bank Risk division. He is a risk officer with experience across both banking and trading books, as well as in credit and market risk. His experience combines risk, business, regulatory and capital needs. Over time, it has ranged from managing credit risk in different regions and economic environments (and crises), to building, implementing and managing risk methodologies/models, as well as wider project management across the organization.

He holds a Degree in Economics, as well as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and MSc in Finance.

Mike Sigal is Founder and CEO of Cashflower, which is developing a SaaS-based 'automated CFO' to help small businesses make sure they have the financial resources they need to survive and thrive, with automated cash-flow forecasting and management tools. He also serves as Senior Advisor to SWIFT's Innotribe Startup Challenge, the world's largest FinTech startup competition that bridges between the FinTech startup community and SWIFT's member institutions, and as a Director of Alliance.SV, a Silicon Valley-based innovation agency helping corporate and governmental clients to improve their innovation agility and throughput. To stimulate his long-time love of startups and the entrepreneurial spirit, he serves as an Advisor to several FinTech startups, as well as a mentor for a number of startup accelerators including 500Startups, SeedCamp and IBMSmartCamp.

Previously, as co-founder of Guidewire Labs, he was responsible for the company's business development and strategic relationships, and led the development of the G/Score™, the world's first standardized diagnostic tool for assessing and benchmarking pre-revenue startups. Prior to Guidewire Labs, he was co-founder of FM WAVES (acquired by Blizzard Entertainment), Infragence (acquired by Rainmaker), and WiFinder (acquired by Boingo).

Rich Radka is a founding partner at Claro Partners in Barcelona. Claro anticipates shifts in human behavior in relationship to technology to identify new market opportunities and to create consumer value propositions that link to multi-stakeholder business models. With almost 20 years of experience, he has been turning insights into innovative new opportunities, products, services, experiences and business strategies for clients, such as AT&T, BBVA, HP, IBM, Intel, Intuit, Motorola, Nokia Skype, Sony, Samsung, Telefonica, Time-Warner and Vodafone in both emerging and mature markets.

Giuseppe Gramigna's work focuses on the small and medium enterprise sector. His academic research focuses on how changes in the financial markets affect small business lending, and on labor migration during periods of economic transition.

He worked in the Equity Research Department of a major investment bank, where he focused on natural resource industries. At the U.S. Small Business Administration, he serves as the Agency's Chief Economist, advises the Agency on economic trends affecting small businesses, and leads research on economic impact evaluations and strategic planning. He serves as the Chair of the Interagency Subcommittee on Evaluating Business Technical Assistance Programs (E-BTAP), a group responsible for developing best practices for implementing economic impact evaluations within the U.S. Federal Government.

He also serves as the U.S. Permanent Delegate and Vice Chair to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Working Party on SMEs and Entrepreneurship. He works with international organizations such as Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). He serves on the scientific committees of several academic institutions and publications, and is a frequent speaker both domestically and internationally.

Before joining the U.S. Small Business Administration, he headed the consulting firm, DASSI Corp. His other areas of interest include the construction industries, tourism, information services, and regional economic development.

He earned a BA Degree in Economics from The State University of New York at Purchase, and a Graduate Degree in Economics from The New School for Social Research.

Sean Emery is CEO and co-founder of RainFin, Africa's pre-eminent online lending marketplace. He is responsible for all aspects of the RainFin business. Before starting RainFin, he founded and operated Africa's largest business-to-business electronic trading marketplace, www.tradeworld.net, which formed the foundation for the SAP Supplier Network in Africa. It has since been acquired by Ariba.

He is an active venture capital investor and has funded a number of disruptive start-ups in the media and technology spaces. His global career spans executive and investment roles in technology and media businesses in Africa, Europe and the Middle East.

He has been involved in disruptive industries for the past 20 years that specifically drive the open source economy and build the online marketplace through investment and innovation. He has the vision and ability to turn business plans and concepts into profitable and sustainable businesses with broad impact.

Attul Sehgal is an accomplished entrepreneur who over the last twenty years has launched highly innovative and successful global products as an entrepreneur and an executive. He has worked with some of the world's leading blue chips. Since 2011, he has been the CEO and Co-Founder of a UK-based Fintech start up, Red Zebra Analytics, which launched its loyalty product, and 3D offers to major banks in Europe and Asia.

Prior to Red Zebra, he was at the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) where he was responsible for mobile payments and digital strategy. Before moving to retail banking, he was in telecommunications, and launched a suite of business and consumer propositions including Mobile Broadband. Earlier in his career, he worked for a major management consultancy, Booz and Company.

He holds a Master's Degree in Telecommunications Technology.

He is the senior vice president, a member of the management committee, and Head of Strategy, Business Initiatives and Analytics of Wells Fargo's Business Direct Division. Business Direct is the nation's largest lender of loans of up to $100,000 to small businesses and a leading innovator in the small business credit and payment industry.

He served in various management positions since joining Wells Fargo in 1997. Prior to his current position, he was Head of Consumer Home Equity Marketing (1997-1999), Head of Small Business Real Estate and Equipment Finance (1999-2004), and Head of Business Direct International Expansion (2004-2008). As an expert in banking strategy, small business lending, and financial technology innovation, he has been invited to speak at many banking seminars and conferences.

Before joining Wells Fargo, he was the Vice President and Head of Analysis and Modeling at Countrywide Home Loans, the nation's largest mortgage bank at the time. He also served as a senior analyst and was later promoted to lead the quantitative analysis practice at Quantum Consulting Inc., a management consulting firm based in Berkeley, California.

Alan Martinez leads the account management team to ensure EFL partner success. He has partnered with chief executives and other senior leaders of the top banks providing access to capital for underserved entrepreneurs and consumers across Africa, North America, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.

After starting his lending career at ShoreBank in Chicago, he joined ShoreBank International where he founded the company's credit scoring practice and led micro- and SME finance programs across the globe.

He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy from the University of Texas, and a Master's Degree in Public Policy from Harvard University.

As Chief Executive Officer of eFactor Network, Hector De La Garza Ramos is responsible for the company's overall corporate direction and performance.

Prior to founding eFactor Network, along with his partners, he worked in Mexican Banks since 1991, beginning his career in Grupo Financiero Banorte, and later in Bancomext, Nacional Financiera (NAFIN), and Banca Afirme. From 2001-2008, he served as Regional Promotion Manager, Northeast Area of Supply Chain Finance in NAFIN, and as a Director of New Business Development in Banca Afirme.

He is an Economist, and graduated in 1993 from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM). He also holds a MBA (ITESM), and completed postgraduate studies on Bank Efficiency at the University of Oviedo, Spain, and received a grant scholarship from the Bank of Mexico.

Rajpal Singh Duggal is responsible for Corporate Strategy and Planning, and has been instrumental in developing an aggressive push for rural markets and developing the financial inclusion strategy. This has given Oxigen an impressive growth in overall business and profitability over the last 5 years. He is also credited with successfully leading a multi-departmental team to develop a new low cost General Packet Radio Service (GPRS) terminal. More than 50,000 of these new terminals have been placed in the market and are operating successfully. The terminals are now the backbone of Oxigen's new business growth strategy for the future.

With over 40 years of working experience in diverse industry segments, he started his career as a Management Trainee with the DCM Group where he worked for 10 years. He handled Commercial, Finance and development of Management Information Systems (MIS). He then joined the Raunaq Group (Apollo Tyres) working with a diverse portfolio of functions from Finance to Sales and Marketing. His last position was Vice President of Business Development, handling identification of new project ideas, foreign and joint venture collaboration, and management of JVs at the operational phase. He has been in the forefront of innovative financial solutions including fundraising from banks and financial institutions.

As an entrepreneur, he established India's first ever discount format retail store called Discount Circuit, when India did not have any large format retail stores. His four large format stores in NCR had a successful response. This is now being restructured on a web format. He holds a MBA Degree from the Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) Delhi, India.

He is CEO and Founder of SizeUp, a software as a service platform providing big data to small businesses. He works with banks and large enterprises to implement SizeUp through their online services to empower their small business customers to make smarter decisions through data. This enables increased online conversation rates, customer engagement, acquisition, and retention. Top executives from Google, Facebook, and Salesforce.com selected SizeUp as the 1st place award winner for online tools to grow the economy, recognizing SizeUp through the US Department of Commerce.

Gloria Grandolini is Senior Director, Finance and Markets Global Practice (FMGP) of the World Bank Group. She is responsible for delivering tailored development solutions integrating World Bank Group financial, knowledge/advisory, and convening services to clients. The FMGP delivers comprehensive World Bank Group solutions, including World Bank loans/credits, guarantees, and risk-management products and knowledge, advisory, and convening services to public sector clients. Her most recent assignment included Country Director for Mexico and Colombia, where she was responsible for the Bank's program in those countries aimed at delivering innovative development solutions and at partnering with them to leverage their leadership and enhance South-South collaboration.

Since joining the World Bank in 1990 as a Young Professional, she has held various positions, among them: Director of the Banking and Debt Management Department in the World Bank Treasury. She oversaw the delivery of customized financial solutions, product innovation, and dissemination of offerings to clients and to staff; advisory services in public debt management; and asset-liability management services and hedging execution for the Bank Group and its members.

Prior to that, she was the Senior Advisor to the Executive Director representing Albania, Greece, Italy, Malta, Portugal and San Marino in the Board of the World Bank Group.

Earlier in her career she worked as Country Economist for El Salvador and as Senior Financial Economist in the Latin America and Caribbean region. In addition to her managerial experience, she has hands-on operational and market experience in financial sector development, pensions and insurance, disaster risk management, capital markets, infrastructure finance, and the full range of financial products offered by the World Bank Group.

She has a PhD. in International Economics and a Master's Degree in Law and Diplomacy from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, at Tufts University. She also holds a Master's Degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University.

Quang Nguyen has significant experience in finance and strategy for small businesses, large corporations, and governments. With Kopo Kopo, he leads credit services, including Grow: the first merchant cash advance product based off of mobile money transactions.

Prior to joining Kopo Kopo, he specialized in predictive analytics and credit for Capital One Financial Services, and worked in private equity in East Africa.

He holds a B.S.E. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Sir Sherard Cowper-Coles joined HSBC Holdings in October 2013 as Senior Adviser to the Group Chairman and Group Chief Executive. In May 2015, he was appointed to new post as Group Head of Government Affairs, reporting to the Group Chairman and Group Chief Executive. He is also a Director of HSBC Bank Egypt SAE. Before HSBC, he worked for two and a half years as Business Development Director, International, at BAE Systems plc.

Earlier he spent over 30 years in the British Diplomatic Service, which he joined immediately after reading Classics at Oxford University. He served in Cairo, Washington D.C. and Paris. He was also Principal Private Secretary to the United Kingdom (UK) Foreign Secretary, the late Robin Cook, and was Head of the Foreign Office Hong Kong Department from 1994 up to the handover of Hong Kong back to China in 1997. His final diplomatic jobs were as Ambassador to Israel (2001-2003), Ambassador to Saudi Arabia (2003-2007), Ambassador to Afghanistan (2007-2009), and the UK Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan (2009-2010).

He is also Chairman of the Financial Inclusion Commission; a Board Member of the China- Britain Business Council; UK Chairman of the Omani-British Friendship Association (business council); and Chairman of the Saudi-British Society, and of the Pitzhanger Manor Trust. He is an Honorary Fellow of Hertford College, Oxford, and President of the Jane Austen Society. He is the author of two books about his diplomatic experiences: Cables from Kabul and Ever the Diplomat. He speaks French and Arabic, some Hebrew and rudimentary Pashtu.

He leads the investment operations and advisory services for IFC, overseeing new business development, portfolio, and client relationships with key private sector partners worldwide. From 2011 to 2014, he was Vice President for IFC's Europe, Central Asia, Middle East, and North Africa region. From 2010 to 2011, he served as IFC's Director of the Middle East, North Africa, and Southern Europe department.

Prior to that, he headed IFC's Global Manufacturing and Services department from 2004 to 2010, leading activities in tourism, retail and property development, construction materials, the forest products chain, life sciences, and energy-efficient machinery.

He has worked in a wide range of regions and industries. He spent over two years in New Delhi as IFC's Director of the South Asia department, where he doubled commitments for the region, and doubled IFC's portfolio in India. Prior to this, he served as Manager of New Investments for IFC's Eastern/Central Europe region, and spent over 12 years in IFC's oil and gas division.

Externally, he has served on the Board of Directors for both IDFC (India) and the Commercial Bank of Ceylon (Sri Lanka). He has also represented IFC in operating committees managing oil and gas properties in Latin America, the Middle East and Central Asia.

He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from George Washington University.

Xavier Reille joined IFC in 2011 and leads the Financial Institution's Group Advisory Program in EMENA. He was a senior manager with the World Bank for 10 years and was one of the founders of the Microfinance Information eXchange, the market platform of the microfinance industry.

He managed the G8 Access to Finance Initiative for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) from 2005 to 2008, and led the Consultative Group to Assist the Poor (CGAP) technology programs from 2000 to 2005. Before joining the World Bank, he set up several investment funds in South East Asia. He also worked for SIDI, a venture capital company focusing on SMEs. He has been a board member of several banks and investment companies in emerging markets, and has authored over 20 publications on access to finance topics.

He graduated from the French Grande Ecole, Ecole Nationale Superieure des Industries Agricoles et Alimentaires (ENSIA), and completed a banking certificate with the Center for Financial, Economic and Banking Studies (CEFEB).

Cesar Richardson is the Vice President of Sales and Operations for Strands is a Financial Services technology solution provider to over 150 global retail banks including BBVA, Deutsche Bank and Barclays.

He has over 15 years of experience identifying business opportunities, and building companies and generating revenue growth in investment banking, online travel and educational technology companies. He has helped institutional banks in Iberia evolve their capital markets trading operations from voice to digital, allowing them not only to grow their volumes but to also reach new customers and markets worldwide. At the same time, he was also key to developing and executing the business strategy used to deliver the same technology platform to corporate treasuries which, for the first time, had access to the tools and real time data required to value and purchase complex financial products from sell-side institutions guaranteeing pricing transparency. His interests and knowledge revolve around disruptive innovation through technology and its capacity to add value and change markets.

He is a graduate in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Surrey (UK).

Han Veldwijk is at the forefront of Fintech. He is Executive in Residence for Rabobank with leading global accelerators in Europe. His main responsibilities are identifying business models of the future by partnering with startups, incorporating their best practices, and engaging the Rabobank community into the digital age. He launched a mobile banking venture called SHIFT, a finance proposition for millennials launching later this year, and is a mentor to several startups, notably in the mobile commerce and the block chain sphere.

He worked as manager in Retail Banking Operations at Rabobank, responsible for retail banking services, mobile payments and wealth management. He has many years of experience in understanding and implementing new technologies from a strategic perspective.

Rohit Acharya is Chief Data Scientist at First Access, which combines financial and mobile data to reliably predict credit risk for borrowers in informal markets and make financial products more affordable. His group builds and implements credit models, develops data-driven insights about banking operations, and advises financial institutions on both business strategy and product development.

Prior to joining First Access, he worked at Bridgewater Associates, the largest hedge fund in terms of assets under management, and was responsible for portfolio assessment, trade oversight, and risk management. Prior to that, he worked as a consultant at Oliver Wyman specializing in the financial sector. He advised retail banks and insurance companies on engagements focusing on loan origination and underwriting, mortgage delinquency, and new financial product development.

He holds a B.A. Degree in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Harvard University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Frm. Minister Gligor Tashkovich serves on the advisory councils or regular boards of several companies. He is also a Registered Representative with AlphaSource Capital Securities LLC, a broker-dealer, which solicits new investors for uncorrelated hedge funds.

Previous to that, he completed a successful two-year mandate as the Minister for Foreign Investment of the Republic of Macedonia where his team attracted approximately US $1.5 billion dollars of new projects into the country across ten industry sectors.

His entrepreneurial projects include being part of teams that developed the Internet worldwide in the mid-1980s; the creation of Mobile Telesystems (a GSM mobile carrier) and the Moscow International Business Center/Moscow City Center Project; the importation and distribution of Time magazine in the Republic of Macedonia (which turned the Capital Assets Pricing Model on its end); the development of the AMBO Trans-Balkan Oil Pipeline project and other ventures. Earlier assignments included working for Digital Equipment Corporation in France and Switzerland and the World Economic Forum.

He earned his B.A. from Cornell University's College of Arts & Sciences and dual-major M.B.A. from Cornell's Johnson Graduate School of Management.

He lectures on a variety of subjects around the world and is honored to have been asked to moderate this panel on "Post-Crisis Regulatory Reform and SME Finance" at the inaugural Global SME Finance Forum.

Previously, he worked as the Manager of Digital Channels at Garanti Bank. Simla She is a member of the World Economic Forum Global Agenda Council on Europe, and holds an M.S. from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in New York.

Patrick Reily is CEO and co-founder of Verde International. He launched Verde International in 2006. He is a 25-year financial services veteran, having served in executive and P&L ownership roles with some of the largest US and multinational financial institutions. His expertise includes business startup and turnaround, credit risk and underwriting, marketing science, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), automated decision systems, financial performance and regional economics. Since the late 1980's, has led the used of unstructured and transactional data for predictive modeling in applications for underwriting, utilization, retention, optimization, offer management, cross-selling, customer service and fraud prevention. His work has even been used to predict macroeconomic expansion and contraction by the Federal Reserve.

He holds a MBA and MS in Economics from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio

Dan Balke has been with AccessHolding, a network of ten financial institutions in Sub-Saharan Africa, Central Asia, the Caucasus and South America and its management company LFS Financial Systems since their foundations. He is Managing Director and co-owner of LFS, which manages AccessHolding and its network banks.

He possesses more than 16 years of work experience in the field of micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) banking, as well as regional experience in the Caribbean, the Caucasus, Central Asia, Eastern Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, the Pacific, South America, Southeast Asia, Southeast Europe, and Sub-Saharan Africa.

He holds a MBA Degree in Finance from the Manchester Business School and a M.Sc. in Economics. He speaks English, German, Russian, Serbo-Croatian, and Spanish.

Simla Unal is the Marketing Director of TEB SME Banking, in charge of marketing, business development and women banking functions. She began her career in 1998 as a banker and she joined Turk Ekonomi Bankas? (TEB), a BNP Paribas joint venture in 2002. Since then she led the establishment of SME Banking, Start-up Banking and Women Banking and the non-financial services(NFS) strategy of TEB. She works as a consultant for International Finance Corporation (IFC) for NFS for client projects and attends international SME Banking Conferences as a guest speaker and advices banks in different countries on how to design non-financial strategy and products for SMEs."

Professor Njuguna Ndung'u served as Governor of the Central Bank of Kenya since March 4, 2007 and as its Chairman of the Board. He also served as the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC) Director of Training. A long-time researcher with the AERC network, he has published in international journals, as well as (chapters in) books on economic policy issues ranging from economic growth, poverty reduction, inflation, interest rate and exchange rate issues, to macroeconomic performance in sub-Saharan Africa, financial management and public sector growth.

He previously worked in Nairobi as Regional Programme Officer for the Eastern and Southern Africa Regional Office of the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) of Canada. He worked with the Kenya Institute of Public Policy Research and Analysis (KIPPRA), a government think-tank, and as a Principal Analyst/Researcher and Head of the Macroeconomic and Economic Modeling Division.

He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Gothenburg, Sweden, and Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Economics from the University of Nairobi, Kenya.

Peter Ollikainen is the co-founder and SVP of product marketing at Mistral Mobile, a company that unleashes mobile devices for secure use in banking, payments and commerce. Mistral Mobile's market-proven, mobile front-end solutions are used by retail, issuing and acquiring banks and other financial service providers to offer secure and flexible solutions to rapidly introduce mobile payments, mobile banking and mobile authentication services independent of mobile operators and for all mobile phones.

Prior to co-founding Mistral Mobile, he was head of marketing for Nokia's mobile financial services business unit (Nokia Money) and was part of the core team that built the business from the very beginning. He has also held various key positions within general management, product and consumer marketing, business development as well as research and development (R&D) in mobile telecommunications. He has worked extensively on the ground in various parts of the world, including the Asia Pacific region, China, and Europe. He also serves in the Board of Directors on various information and communications technology (ICT) startups.

He holds a Master's Degree in Computer Sciences, majoring in Software Systems, from Tampere University of Technology in Finland.

Vivian Zhao is the Senior Vice President of CreditEase. Prior to joining CreditEase, she held a range of positions with increasing responsibility including BD Director of GE China, Vice President of Siemens China, Chief Representative of Visa Asia Pacific Beijing Representative Office. She has a rich experience in management in multinational companies, serving in a variety of areas in business development, corporate strategy, e-commerce and operation, etc.

Mrs. Zhao holds a Law Degree from Peking University and an MBA from Schulich Business School of York University, Canada.

Peer Stein, a German national, is Director in the Finance and Markets Global Practice of the World Bank Group, a position he assumed in July 2014. In this role, he is responsible for the global solutions of the Practice's financial, advisory, and convening services, including financial sector reform and policy, financial infrastructure and access, and finance for development. Before that, Peer was responsible for IFC's Access to Finance Advisory Business Line, a position he has held since 2009.

Peer has also been leading the World Bank Group's engagement with the G-20 on financial inclusion and is the current chair of the World Economic Forum's Global Agenda Council on the Future of Finance. He joined IFC in 1996, and has worked in Asia, Africa, Latin America, the Middle East and Eastern Europe on both the investment and advisory sides of IFC. Prior to joining IFC, Peer worked in Germany as a management consultant in enterprise restructuring and as a partner in a strategic market research firm covering Eastern Europe. He holds a master's degree in business administration and economics from Witten/Herdecke University, and has been teaching financial sector reform and development at Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies. Peer is married and has two children.

PROF. Emre ALKIN (PhD) He was born in 1969 in Istanbul. He graduated from Saint-Michel French High School in Istanbul.

B.A. from Istanbul University Faculty of Economics English Economics in 1991. Same year he was accepted as an research assistant to the Istanbul University Faculty of Economics. He recieved title of associate proffesor in theory of economics when he was doing his military services in 1997, as a project officer in F-16 Tactical Aircraft Systems.

Prof.Dr. Emre Alkin wrote boks about risk management and financial institutions and he was on board of management and worked as consultant for several invesment companies. He became a professor in 2002. He participated in business development of Cukurova Holding, Anadolu Industry Holding, Dogan Holding and Alt?nbas Holding in various sectors. Emre Alkin worked as economy commentator for TV Channels such as TV8, FOX, CNNTURK and CNBC-E and wrote columns for newspapers.

Between 2000-2014 he was on a duty in Secretary General of Turkish Exporters Assembly, Member of National Tax Council, Secretary General of Federation of Non Banking Financial Companies, Secretary General of Turkish Football Federation and member of UEFA Marketing Committee.

Prof. ALKIN give lectures and also there are books written by himself in Turkish and English. He held various positions in GSM and Telecommunication, International Financial Institutions, Payment Systems, Energy and Iron-Steel Industry. Furthermore, He gives economy classes at the Kemerburgaz University and continues its mission as Vice President. He still takes part in international projects about payment systems and financial management.

Today, Prof. Alkin is Columnist in the business newspaper DUNYA and have 2 best seller novel in Turkish about socio-economy and writes about new dimensions in the business life in ORIGINEL magazine. He has two sons and speaks French and English fluently.
