New research published by the Community Development Finance Association (CDFA), through the support of RBS Inspiring Enterprise, has found that unmet demand for community finance has reached more than £6billion, compared to an estimated £0.7billion of finance being provided by community finance organisations this year.

This new report has identified and quantified this gap in provision for the first time, and outlined the requirements for the providers of “community finance” to fill it.
