With the theme, "Finance SMEs and fire up the economy", the eighth annual AITEC banking conference and mobile money COMESA Conference 2014 kicked off kicked off yesterday in Nairobi attracting key speakers from the financial sector.

The conference has brought together key players in the industry, including the Kenya Bankers Association, EMP, Ericsson, Ingenco, SAP and Hitachi Data Systems, to create a networking and marketing forum to link technology suppliers and innovators to meet with the region's financial services sector.
