The Government of Rwanda and International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, is hosting a high-level international conference on Capital Markets East Africa 2015: Accelerating Economic Development in Kigali, Rwanda, from February 12-13, 2015.
On the agenda will be capital market development in East Africa – opportunities and challenges – towards serving as foundations for long-term and inclusive economic growth.

This invitation only conference will convene about 300 global and regional experts, regulators, law firms, issuers, and rating agencies. Drawing on experiences and best practices participants will contribute to a number of topics which include:

• A robust infrastructure for efficient financial markets
• Investing in human capital for the market
• International investor perspectives on domestic issuances
• Financing real sectors through capital markets; and more
